A center for women

Who knew how things would evolve... but since they have The Reid Stress Management Center for Women strives to make a difference. If I can teach one new person the significance of self care in alternative ways I feel like I have hit the jack pot. I am grateful for the opportunity...

What I love about the stress management center is the women there are real. This is a place for real women, with real issues, to come together and know they are not alone. Dr. Reid's center has touched my life, and offered me a new look at how to deal with my issue. I look forward to my time with her and the other women who come there. There is love there.

Before coming to the Stress Management Center I was stagnate in personal growth and withdrawing from life. Since I have been going to the center and working with Dr. Reid I have been on a journey to find out who I am as individual and how many true friends I have around me. Dr. Reid has shown me that I am equipped with all the tools to have personal happiness I just need to remove the excess clutter. I am embarking on this journey not only to change who I am as an individual but offer a better individual to the world.

I have to admit, it is not easy to embark on a trail of self discovery then follow through, especially when you hit a wall of pain. My motto " feel the pain and do it anyway"!!! That is where growth comes from that is where your breakthrough is and that is a point of one less STRESSOR... After all isn't that what this is all about... navigating life's challenges & finding alternative ways to deal with stress. I applaud everyone on the path...

It is really amazing how God brings you to certain places and people. Dr.Reid was at a beauty salon open house providing seated massages. I decide to get a 20 minute massage and that lead me to her center for a full body massage. To say the experience was amazing is an understatement. On that particular day I was masking the hurt I was feeling. Dr. Reid asked me how I was doing. Well, of course I said “fine”. Her response was “I don’t think so. Your spirit is telling me something else”. I’m thinking “woman, get out of my head”. Dr. Reid ministered to my soul that day before she even touched my body. She is able to connect to your spirit which is something no massage therapist has ever done for me. The Reid Stress Management Center for Women is much more than a place for me to have my achy bones massaged; it’s a place where the "whole" person is considered. The workshops that address women's issues such as breast cancer, and healthy eating have enlightened me and helped me change some of my unhealthy habits. However, my favorite part of the center is the meditation classes. Through these classes I am learning things about myself that I wasn't trying to face. My connection with God is growing day by day. Dr.Reid facilitates this growth and self discovery by telling it like it is. The groups of women that attend these classes are nothing less than inspiring. Each of them has their own personal struggle and whether they realize it or not I have grown from their experiences as well. Each and every woman I have encountered at the center has enriched my life. Thank you to Dr. Reid because I feel so blessed that she has allowed me to be part of this awesome journey. I look forward to what's around the bend with someone I am proud to call a friend.

We must have a healthy mind to survive all the stressors in life. There are many tools that women have at their disposal to feel good and free themselves from the inner voices that are disabling. The breakthrough really begins with the mind…with our thoughts. We can eliminate the stressors in our lives by thinking positive thoughts and knowing that we can choose to be happy or miserable with our thoughts. When the mind is scattered and stressed, it sends messages to the physical body which also become stressed. One of the best ways to release stress is through physical exercise, but I like to tell me clients to exercise their mind by incorporating thoughts of love, healing and inspiration.
Dr. Reid, it is wonderful to know that you have created a healing place for all women to express their authentic self and begin the journey of self healing.

Today there is more and more help available for individuals suffering from anxiety. It's not a rare disorder and no one is going to look at you strangely just because you suffer from anxiety, so don't be afraid to seek help for your needs. The longer allow your anxiety to dictate your mood the more you'll suffer.http://www.buy-xanax-online-now.com
